Agreements
On ordering in Lightinitaly our client accepts the following conditions:
Changing or Cancelling an Order Any order received by Lightinitaly will be considered valid if not changed or cancelled by e-mail or fax within 24 hours. After this lapse of time, the order will be considered by all means executive.
Guarantees on the product All of our products come from companies which usually make export. Thus all of them have received international approval. All the merchandise being sent from or on behalf of Lightinitaly is covered by insurance, agreed upon with the international forwarding agent. This guarantee covers up to a maximum value of 500 US$ - 470 Euro, for each expedition. However it's up to our client to establish the integrity of the merchandise arrived at its final destination and to notify any possible anomaly in the first place to the forwarding agent and in the second place to "Lightinitaly". Our client can reject any damaged product. Lightinitaly will be the one to start the refund procedures with the forwarding agent in our client's favour. In any case Lightinitaly doesn't assume responsibility for possible damage on the product, on things or people, once the merchandise has been accepted. Nevertheless "LightinItaly" engages itself to provide its clients, both on the phone and by mail, with all the help and assistance needed, regarding the proper use of our products. Furthermore, should any part of your lamp get incidentally damaged even some time after its purchase, Lightinitaly will provide you with the spare part, following your precise description of the product and of the part to be replaced. Lightinitaly will help you even after the product is no longer produced, according with the availability of the warehouse and the producing factories.
Product Updating Should a product undergo any change in appearance or price, in the laps of time which goes from receiving the order and its expedition, "Light in Italy" will inform the client in advance, so as to define a confirmation, a change or a cancellation of the order.
Solvency of payment Lightinitaly reserves the right to control all payments, in different ways according to the method of payment used by the customer. Credit Card: on receiving our client's data, we will verify through the bank the validity and correctness of the transmitted information. Only after the bank's approval will the order become executive. The sum charged will follow the procedure of all Credit Cards. Money Transfer: in this case the merchandise will be shipped only after receiving the bank's notification of receiving the due sum.
Reimbursements Shouldn't you be satisfied for any reason with what you have acquired, Lightinitaly gives you the possibility of returning the merchandise within 30 days from the expedition date, but on the condition it has not been used and that the original packing is in perfect state. To quicken all the procedure, it's important to follow the instructions listed below: a) let Lightinitaly know your intention of returning the merchandise by e-mail or fax, specifying all the necessary data to find your expedition form in a brief time; b) wait for our written confirmation; c) use the same forwarding agent which made the delivery, paying yourself for the expedition and insurance costs; d) forward the package only to "Lightinitaly"; e) after having received and inspected the good conditions of the merchandise, Lightinitaly will arrange to transmit the sum back to the customer, excluding transport and insurance costs. The merchandise which should arrive after 30 days, will be sent back to the sender at his own expenses.
